Product Description
Material Handling Powered Transfer Battery Trolley
Battery transfer trolleys are movable platforms used for the horizontal movement of materials, assemblies and other items. It is powered by storage battery, which is installed on the transfer carts. The transfer carts are manual guide vehicles equipped with specialized drive systems which make it possible to easily, precisely and safely move up to 200 tons. Usually the vehicles are used to accommodate the needs of a wide range of industries including Steel, Aluminum, Automotive, Heavy Manufacturing and others. These cargo loading trolleys are designed to operate on floor or rails and are used to transport heavy materials across crane bays or in areas not serviced by an overhead crane.
Application & Sites
For horizontal load transfers of a wide range of material, we have the heavy duty, high quality Transfer Cart solution you need. The cargo transfer vehicles are used:
- To carry loads along assembly lines
- Transfer material from one work station to the next
- Store and transport an entire shift worth of production
- Stable yet moveable machine base
Applicable industrial fields: Metallurgy, manufacture, oil and gas, die shops, shipyards, chemical plant, automotive, mining industry, aerospace, power generation, coal industry, paper mills, metalworking, warehouse and many others!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Will a transfer cart be a good solution for my facility?
Transfer carts are excellent moveable platforms for horizontal movement of materials. They are an affordable and compact choice for handling heavy loads, especially in areas with limited floor space or restrictive passages.
Q2: What are the main advantages of using these carts over lift trucks?
They are more accommodating for moving long loads through doorways, have a compact design for limited floor area, and the cart deck can be customized to suit specific load requirements like V-grooves for coils.
Q3: What kind of load applications can they handle?
Common applications include handling coils, tanks, assemblies, sub-assembly shuttles, maintenance support for motors/pumps, and material shuttles for steel tubing.
Q4: How much weight can these battery trolleys transport?
These specialized drive systems make it possible to easily and safely move materials up to 200 tons (rated capacities range from 1 to 300 tons depending on model).
Q5: What safety features are integrated into the trolleys?
The carts include sound and light warning equipment, and advanced radar control that provides automatic stopping when obstacles are detected within a 3 to 0.3-meter range.
Q6: How is the vehicle controlled during operation?
Units are typically equipped with a hand-held pendant or remote control. They can also be integrated with PLC systems for semi-automatic or fully automatic operation.
